Meet Lauren

After the birth of my second child, I experienced firsthand, the exhaustion and depletion that often follows childbirth. I realized how essential postpartum care is and began to research and evaluate what a body needs after birthing a baby.

Just barely out of my own fourth trimester, I started a postpartum meal delivery service so that I could help other people like me who craved nourishing, healthy, healing meals, but didn’t have the time or energy to prepare them. I decided to take a postpartum doula training workshop with the intention of having a deeper understanding of how to better serve my meal delivery clients. It was during this training that something inside of me unlocked and I knew that I wanted to work more closely with new families and help them get off to the best start possible. Every birthing person deserves to have the postpartum care they need to thrive. I aim to do whatever I can to help achieve that.

I am now a DONA International trained Postpartum Doula, working towards certification. I am also working towards certification as an Ayurvedic Postpartum Care Specialist (or Auyrdoula) through Inner Sun and Moon.

As your doula, my only focus is your wellbeing. I will provide you with evidence-based information and resources to help you make your own informed decisions and provide unconditional and non-judgmental support in those decisions. I can offer a shoulder to cry on or a high five to celebrate the amazing things your body has accomplished. I will make sure you are hydrated and nourished and that you don’t feel like you don’t have to go this alone. I want to help you feel informed, empowered, and cared for, as you begin the amazing journey of caring for your baby.

When I’m not serving a new family, you will find me having dance parties with my little ones, gardening, or trying to sneak in a few pages of the latest book I’m reading. I look forward to meeting you and would be honored to support you in any way I can.
